Casino Party Checklist

Our Casino Party Checklist will help you cover your bets! Have a budget in mind and we’ll let you know what we can help with.

Planning a Casino Party:

Setting Dates: Call DanMar Casino Parties to get on the calendar – when setting a date and time, let us know asap, we book out on weekends 6 to 8 weeks. Some of our events are annual, so they are booked a year in advance.

Invitations: How are you inviting people? Mailed, emailed or hand delivered?

What is your guest count: We can handle parties of 10 to 250+ people. Ask for RSVPs or registrations to nail down your number.

Your venue: many of our clients are based in hotels – if you don’t have a venue, we may be able to recommend one.

Other entertainment or activities: Make your night more memorable by providing other entertainment than the casino games. A DJ and sound system during the event with add to the party vibe. Pick a theme for the night like Western, Roaring 20s, Black Tie, 80s fun, Disco, Groovy Era or celebrate a holiday like Halloween, Christmas, New Years, St Patrick’s Day. Guests can dress up and enjoy a costume contest as well.

Casino tables and dealers: we have authentic casino tables and trained dealers. We offer your choice of blackjack, craps, roulette, Texas hold ‘em and three card poker. Our dealers are professionals and know how to explain the game to any novice gambler guests.

Let us consult on the room: Plan to describe your venue. Once you pick casino games and amount, we can help determine how to best utilize the space. We will need to get in touch with the people from the venue to confirm details and layout. We all need to plan on where to place the tables and any other furniture.

Determine how to handle winnings – Besides handing out chips to use, additional prizes can go to the big winner, top three winners, or you can give out raffle tickets for prize drawings throughout the night. Consolation prizes are a great option.

Purchase prizes for winners – Prizes certainly help keep guests interested. Ensure you buy a good amount of prizes for the winners and for any other entertainment or games that might happen.

Party Phase:

Have a point of contact: Make sure that a venue contact is present to direct us to the designated area during the party set-up. We will have to work diligently with all moving pieces to make sure your needs are properly executed.

Set decorations if needed: After we have completed the game set-up, it is now time to decorate the venue to match your theme.

Guest arrival: When the guests arrive, allow some time for them to mingle around before starting up the tables. This is the time to serve refreshments and inform them about the order of the evening. Announce the prizes and raffle drawings if you have them planned. If there are scheduled breaks, or set times to switch up the tables, announce those as well.

Enjoy the event!

Post-event phase:

Thank guests for coming:  At the end of the night, announce the big winners if you have them. Award the grand prize. Thank guests for coming!

Loading out – We will load up all the rental tables and game equipment, the event venue will collect any tables and chairs they provided. Make sure you take away any decorations you provided.
